CPC Announces Expanded Leadership Team
MILFORD, Conn., May 08, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) — In response to a clear and growing market need for innovative technology to improve the efficiency and efficacy of clinical care delivery, Cardiopulmonary Corp. (CPC) announced today an expansion of its leadership team. In its next phase of growth, Dr. Jim Biondi, founder of CPC, will serve as Executive Chairman of its board of directors. Janet Dillione, a proven and experienced healthcare executive, will be joining CPC as its Chief Executive Officer.
Since founding CPC, Dr. Biondi has brought the company to its current position as a best-in-class provider of medical enterprise software for connectivity, clinical surveillance, alarm management, and analytics. As Executive Chairman, he will lead the newly constituted board, oversee overall business strategy and work with other luminaries in clinical innovation to cement CPC’s role as the leading technology company in the field.
Ms. Dillione, who has over 25 years of experience leading global teams in the development and delivery of healthcare technology and services, brings to CPC a passion for the company’s founding values and a proven track record of guiding healthcare businesses to rapid growth. As Executive Vice President of Nuance Communications (NUAN) and General Manager of its healthcare division, she grew the company’s healthcare business from approximately $370 million to over $900 million in revenue. Prior to Nuance, she served as CEO of Siemen’s Health Services global business.
